A conversation with Helen McKay FCBI and Craig Graham CCBI

Young Professionals and Professional Memberships follow up

Edinburgh, Lothians & Fife District Centre event

This event is being ran in collaboration with Scottish Financial Enterprise’s Young Professionals network (SFEYP) and is a follow up to February’s event on a similar subject with Milly Batchelor CCBI and Rory McIntyre CCBI.

In February we discussed how professional memberships and networks are great tools for younger professionals to gain traction in progressing their career. This was from the perspective of two younger professionals who have had success through their roles with the Chartered Banker Institute and with SFE YP, in this follow up we will continue this conversation from the perspective of two more experienced professionals.

Helen McKay of Lending Crowd is Chairperson of the Institute’s Membership Forum and Craig Graham is a Professional Standards Manager at the Institute. Both have a wealth of experience in the Banking Industry with different organisations and will be discussing how Institute membership and qualifications have helped them progress their careers as well as providing career advice for younger professionals.
