Resilience through experience | Navigating personal and career challenges

  • Barclays 52 Clyde Place Glasgow, Scotland, G5 8AQ United Kingdom (map)

Join SFE & Barclays Emerge group for a session focusing on ‘Building resilience’.

During the event, we will be joined by a panel of speakers who have first-hand experiences of resilience in their career and life. The panellists will be asked to discuss how they developed resilience in the workplace, how their personal background has helped them to harness resilience & specific points in their career where they had to be particularly resilient.

From this, the conversation will centre around the thought that while resilience is important, stress management & adaptability are just as important. Following the panel, we will have time for networking and refreshments.

Our Panellists:

  • Jamie McMillan, Operational Risk Director, Barclays

  • Jayne Currie, Director Of Membership, SFE

  • Brian Kennedy, International motivational speaker, career mental health and wellness coach and author of the book "The Bulletproof Banker"

More speakers to be announced in due course.
