Investment 20/20

Investment20/20 provides a route into a career in investment management through their paid trainee programme, which is operated by over 60 firms across the UK. The programme is a minimum of 12 months and provides the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge to build a career in the sector. Over the duration of the 12 months, trainees take part in a learning and development programme which includes a network for all our with regular events and a trainee forum.

In addition to the trainee programme, Investment20/20 also provide a comprehensive careers outreach service to schools, colleges, and universities with a range of careers-based activity to support students in developing their understanding of the sector.

They deliver workshops in schools, further education colleges and universities including:

  • Exploring careers in investment management

  • Preparing for recruitment process

Investment 20/20 can also attend career fairs focused on early careers recruitment and skills.



Future Asset

Future Asset is dedicated to educating girls across Scotland about investment management and providing them with opportunities to gain real industry insights and experience.

They are committed to fostering greater gender diversity in the long term by empowering girls from all backgrounds to explore rewarding careers in investment management.

Through our work with schools, we're giving girls the chance to pursue their talents, unlock their potential, and break down the stereotypes and gender barriers that persist in the industry today!


The Growing Future Assets Competition

A 10-week competition for S3-6 girls who have the opportunity to learn about the world of investing whilst competing in a nationwide competition.

Career Ready

Career Ready is a social mobility charity working with schools and employers to help young people in S5/S6 kick-start their career through a programme of monthly mentoring paired with paid workplace experience. Career Ready work with 100s of partner organisations across Scotland and the UK, including many in the financial services sector.
