Amber Rudd to host 2024 Scottish Financial Services Awards

 

We are pleased to announce former cabinet minister Amber Rudd as the host of the 2024 Scottish Financial Services Awards, sponsored by EY.

Amber served as Home Secretary, Secretary of State for Work and Pension, and Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change during almost a decade in parliament. Before becoming an MP she worked in financial services, including for JP Morgan.

The annual Scottish Financial Services Awards are the industry-wide celebration recognising the contribution that firms and individuals have made to the sector and to wider society. This year’s awards are being held Hilton Glasgow on 31 October.

Commenting on the news, Amber Rudd, said: “I am excited to be hosting the 2024 Scottish Financial Services Awards.

“Scotland has a long-standing reputation as a global financial centre and I’m looking forward to celebrating the innovation, leadership and growth that have defined the sector over the last twelve months.”
