Scottish Financial Enterprise has selected Daniel Lindley-Pilley and Jess Insall to co-chair the organisation’s flagship Young Professionals Network

Jess is a Pensions Consultant at EY and has been a Chartered Accountant since 2024, with experience at Steedman and Co and Johnston Carmichael. She has been the network’s Deputy Chair since 2023, helping to set and deliver its strategic objectives.

Daniel has been a Management and Change Consultant at Capco since 2022 and the SFE Young Professional Network’s Engagement Lead since 2023, leading both the network’s firm rep engagement and data-driven solutions strategies.

Jess and Daniel replace outgoing Amy Paterson, who took up the post in January 2023.

SFE Young Professionals was formed in 2017 to connect, inspire and support people in the early stages of their careers. It has since grown to around 1000 members, supporting the development of young professionals in Scotland’s financial services industry through a comprehensive programme of campaigns, events, mentoring and networking opportunities.

Sandy Begbie CBE, Chief Executive, SFE, said:

“The SFE Young Professionals Network is one of SFE’s showpiece initiatives, providing opportunities and helping us deliver for young professionals from across our industry.

“I am delighted to offer my congratulations to Daniel and Jess for their appointments as our new joint YP chairs. Both bring a wide range of skills and experience to the role which will be vital in helping the network continue to go from strength to strength.”
