Shortlist announced for 2024 Scottish Financial Services Awards, sponsored by EY

Following record 117 nominations, judges narrow the pack to final 30

The annual Scottish Financial Services Awards, sponsored by EY, are the industry-wide celebration recognising the contribution that firms and individuals have made to the sector and to wider society.

Judges met on 4 September to assess a record 117 nominations and decide on the final shortlist, ahead of this year’s awards ceremony on 31 October, at Hilton Glasgow.

Sandy Begbie CBE, Chief Executive, Scottish Financial Enterprise, said: “This year’s nomination process has been our most competitive to date, with a huge variety of entries from people and organisations right across the sector. I’d like to congratulate everyone who was nominated for an award, especially our finalists, who have gone the extra mile this year to help drive our industry forward.”

Sue Dawe, EY Scotland Managing Partner for Financial Services, Chair of Scottish Financial Enterprise, said: “The quality and record number of nominations for this year’s awards have demonstrated the inspiring leadership, innovation and community spirit our industry can rightly be proud of. These are attributes that have built the sector’s reputation and it’s fantastic to see they are also the building blocks of its future. Every nomination deserves full recognition for the work they’ve done to make Scotland’s financial services a place people can build meaningful careers and drive impact for social good.
