The Bank of Scotland is a commercial and clearing bank based in Edinburgh. With a history dating to the 17th century, it is the second oldest surviving bank in the United Kingdom, and is the only commercial institution created by the Parliament of Scotland to remain in existence.

Since January 2009, the Bank of Scotland has formed a key part of the Lloyds Banking Group, following the acquisition of HBOS by Lloyds TSB Group.
Bank of Scotland offers a wide range of products and services including personal deposit and lending services, wealth management, business banking and corporate markets business.
