SFE YP Workstream Contributor roles

The Scottish Financial Enterprise Young Professionals Network (SFE YP) is looking to fill a number of Workstream Contributor Roles.

 To apply to any of these voluntary roles, individuals should submit a CV and a short cover letter (including their preferred vacancy) to the network secretariat Harry Meighan at hmeighan@sfe.org.uk by the closing date of Friday 30 August 2024. Interviews will be conducted shortly thereafter.

The SFE YP network aims to provide equitable opportunities for emerging talent within the financial services industry and does so through three key deliverables:

  • Arming emerging talent in the industry with the confidence, knowledge and skills for effective career progression.

  • Connecting the leaders of tomorrow with the leaders of today, to give them the voice to drive tangible change across the industry.

  • Supporting the strategic objectives of SFE whilst in turn supporting our industry to attract, retain and recruit high performing talent.

 

Workstream contributors play a key role in supporting these deliverables. We currently have openings in the following workstreams:

  • Climate Change & Journey to Net Zero: Leading the Journey towards a sustainable future for Scottish Financial Services.

  • Mental Health & Wellbeing: Shaping the mental health and wellbeing landscape in Scotland’s Financial Services.

  • Skills & Inclusion: Making skills development and career progression accessible, achievable and inclusive.

 Responsibilities:

  • Working with the workstream lead to plan projects and campaigns, run events and contribute to making the SFE Young Professionals network a success. 

  • Support ongoing member communications, blogs and videos.

  • Participating in SFE events including invitation-only roundtables on relevant themed discussions.
