Capco steps up partnership with Scottish Financial Enterprise
Global technology and management consultancy Capco has reaffirmed its commitment to Scotland’s financial services industry by moving to partner level membership of Scottish Financial Enterprise (SFE).
SFE has three levels of membership – member, associate, and partner – which include different levels of engagement and member benefits.
Capco, which established a presence in Scotland in 2016 and today employs almost 300 Scottish consultants across its locations in Edinburgh and Glasgow, has been an Associate level member of SFE, the representative body for Scotland’s financial services industry, since 2019.
Over the past seven years Capco’s Scotland business has grown exponentially in response to continued demand for digital transformation and data-related advisory services from Scottish-based financial services institutions.
Scotland is the UK’s largest financial centre outside of London, sustaining around 150,000 jobs and contributing 9.4% of the Scottish economy by Gross Value Added (GVA). Capco recognizes the opportunities to further expand its reach and in influence in Scotland to support the sector’s continued development and better connect Scotland’s financial services ecosystem to its people and services across the UK.
Roland Inglis, Partner and Head of Scotland at Capco, said:
“We are pleased to have this opportunity to recommit to our highly valued partnership with Scottish Financial Enterprise. We remain focused on being the financial services consultancy of choice in Scotland, and will continue to draw upon our proven domain expertise and our empowering culture to deliver innovative end-to-end solutions to our clients in key areas including technology and engineering, data, digital and new ways of working.”
Commenting on the announcement, Sandy Begbie CBE, Chief Executive, Scottish Financial Enterprise, said:
“Capco is an active and supportive SFE member and we are delighted it has chosen to increase its involvement with us. The company’s Scottish success is a welcome sign of the growing focus on digital transformation, automation and data services as our sector continues to respond to technological advancement and changing customer needs. I look forward to working even more closely with Capco in the years ahead to drive strategic progress on these important areas of shared ambition.”
